'THE ILLUSTRATED RECIPE EXHIBITION'
Next month will see the opening of the Brighton Festival and also the exciting group exhibition I am involved in entitled 'The Illustrated Recipe'. This exhibition will reflect the excess of the Prince Regents' most extravagant banquet. Swans will fly, boars will trot and jellies wobble their way into this very unique exhibition. Expect to see Mock Turtle Soup, Swan vol-au-vents and even Salamongundy to make an appearance. This is a very special show for me to be involved in as it features some of my very talented friends who are all specialised in their own field of work.
The chefs / artists are as follows www.saraharnett.co.uk www.kirstywither.com www.edkluz.co.uk www.denimu.com
On Sunday 19th May 2pm-5pm there will be a regency style banquet in cake created by culinary artist Annabel de Vetten-Petersen www.conjurerskitchen.com an afternoon not to be missed for those who love to have their cake and eat it!

'SHEEPSHAPE' for the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum
Over the past few months I have been working on an exciting project with the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum in Chichester, West Sussex. I was commissioned to create a piece of crocheted art work inspired by the beautiful South Downs including the animals and buildings that inhabit it.
The project which I named 'Sheepshape' is a large crocheted landscape of The South Downs in the shape of a Southdown sheep. I will post more details on this in the next few weeks as it will be available for public viewing. In the meantime here is SheepShape. He is the largest piece of crocheted artwork I have created to date and measures a whopping 44" wide x 32" height.
If you would like to find out more about the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum go to www.wealddown.co.uk
