The Fishy Friday Project comes to an end

Over the past year I set myself a challenge entitled the 'Fishy Friday Project'. Fish often feature in large section of my work as I am fascinated by the sheer amount of different types, shapes and sizes there are swimming around in the seas. My aim was to create a book which would feature all of them and I am currently compiling this at present. I will keep you all posted when I finally complete it as there were rather a lot in the end! It was a fun project to do and I set up a Facebook page which features a lot of them which you can see here at www.facebook.com Kate Jenkins 'Fishy Friday Project'

So here is the final Fishy Friday ...  the film poster for Jaws

'The Graphic Art of the Underground. A Countercultural History' by Ian Lowey and Suzy Prince

I am delighted that my packet of 'Woolboro lights and Sewn Vestas' has been featured in this great new book The Graphic Art of the Underground: A Countercultural History. The book takes the reader on a dazzling journey through the visual art and design of alternative youth cultures from 1950's to the present day. www.bloomsbury.com
