KATE'S DINER OPENS IN NEW YORK

Next week sees the opening of my first solo show in New York at The Rebecca Hossack Gallery 262 Mott Street NYC  www.r-h-g.co.uk For this exhibition I have taken inspiration from various American eateries in New York and created my own version crocheted in lambswool with lots of comic touches to many of the pieces.

The show will open on Wednesday 5th December and runs until 4th January 2013

Hand Sewn Seafood

Work is still being carried out for Made 12 www.made12.co.uk here at my studio, so I thought I would post and image each day leading up to it. The image of the day is a hand sewn pot of seafood complete with sequinned prawns and anchovies.

The countdown is on for Made 12 www.made12.co.uk and things have been rather busy in the studio at Cardigan. Here is a new piece which will be buzzing its way down to the Corn Exchange. In case you didn't know Made 12 is Brighton's Design and Craft Fair which opens on Friday 23rd November-Sunday 25th.

MADE 12 BRIGHTON'S DESIGN & CRAFT FAIR

This November sees the welcome return of 'Made 12' Brighton's Design and Craft Fair held at The Corn Exchange, Church Street, Brighton www.MADE12.co.uk. LONDINIUM: A LONDON PAGEANT AT THE REBECCA HOSSACK GALLERY LONDON

This Thursday 19th July sees the opening of 'Londinium: A London Pageant' Held at both Rebecca Hossack Galleries on Conway St W1T6BA and Charlotte Street W1T 2NA www.r-h-g.co.uk The show brings together some of the galleries artists who have contributed new work inspired by the city of London in this year of 2012 this is one of my London inspired pieces.

My latest exhibition 'Stitched Fish' opens tomorrow 23rd June at www.fieldandfork.co.uk which is the restaurant at www.pallant.org.uk and runs until 7th October. Pallant House Gallery will be holding a major exhibition of the work of Sir Peter Blake to mark his 80th Birthday and draws on the extensive collection of British Pop art at the gallery. It's a show not to be missed.
