I have been invited to take part in this exhibition which opens this Friday 13th January at Rheged Centre, Penrith, Cumbria. The exhibition entitled WOW will present the work of 20 contemporary British artists and designers who are inspirational in their creative use of wool. WOW will also feature film, photography,community projects and a hands on making area to inspire the creative project in everyone.

The Exhibition runs from Saturday 14th January - Sunday 15th April

The work on the 'Do knit disturb' room at The Hotel Pelirocco is nearly complete and will be opening on the 19th. The whole room will feature Cardigan homeware products including our very popular multicoloured stripey throws, gorgeous knitted cushions, knitted curtains, and a few new original crocheted pieces of art especially made for the hotel. Our theme for this year is a little fishy, but we also have lots of gorgeous knitted and crocheted items perfect for Christmas. I have been involved with a very special project over the past few weeks. I was approached by Champagne Pommery in conjunction with The Rebecca Hossack Gallery to create an indulgent installation of crocheted bottles of champagne and strawberries. This will displayed in one of the London Eye capsules. It will be a pop up gallery suspended 442 feet above the ground and will be on show for two thirty minute rotations on Monday 11 October and Tuesday 12 October 2010.
